Robert Stayton has been advocating for solar energy for over 40 years. He is the author of two books: Solar Dividends: How Solar Energy Can Generate a Basic Income for Everyone on Earth, and Power Shift: From Fossil Energy to Dynamic Solar Power, which is used as an energy textbook at Cabrillo College. He has lived in an off-grid solar home for over 20 years.

Solar Dividends are a way to spread the wealth of solar energy to everyone on the planet. The idea is simple: for each person we set up an array of solar panels, sell the electricity the panels generate, and deliver the money each month as solar dividends to that individual.
