The event, titled “Voices for a Nuclear Weapon-Free World: Youth in Action,” will feature several young leaders who are actively engaged in nuclear disarmament through innovative and creative approaches. At a time when the risks associated with nuclear weapons are increasing, fostering education on disarmament and nonproliferation is more important than ever. We hope this event will inspire hope and action toward a world free of nuclear weapons.

About CIF
The Critical Issues Forum (CIF) is a global education project that engages high school students in learning about disarmament and nonproliferation. CIF empowers students to grow into individuals who can contribute meaningfully to international peace, security, and social justice. By promoting diverse voices in nuclear disarmament discussions, CIF encourages critical thinking, cross-cultural communication, and youth leadership. The Speaker Series is a part of CIF’s efforts to engage young people as both speakers and participants and is open to anyone interested in international peace, security, and youth education.
