Tsun-Chueh Huang

I go by the name Duke. I was born and raised in Taiwan for 18 years. I was trained to be independent when I was growing up. The experience of attending boarding school at the age of 10 as well as travelling to different countries and living with local families has influenced and made me become aware of my own presence in other cultures. I enjoys biking, longboarding, mountain climbing, camping, as well as baking, reading, playing/listening to music and watching movies. I am currently an undergraduate Junior at Pace University in New York City studying Art, Peace and Justice Studies, and Sustainability. I am an activist, photographer and environmentalist. For me, these three identities are inseparable. Through my experience in learning about conflict and conflict resolution, I found his interest and passion for peacebuilding. My goal is to become a humanitarian aid worker, who not only provides immediate aid, but also facilitates peacebuilding in communities. At the same time, I want to document and photograph the strength and resilience of the people I am working for.
