Women in Peacebuilding Screening

Interested in matters of war, security, and peace? Women play important roles in each. Peace Direct presents a Peace is Loud documentary film, part of a series highlighting the role of women in both war and in peace. The film being shown, “A Journey of a Thousand Miles: Peacekeepers” follows a stereotype-shattering all-female Bangladeshi peacekeeping unit for a UN peacekeeping mission into earthquake-ravaged Haiti.
