BUILD Kashmiri Language and Culture (all levels)

Experience the linguistic and cultural richness of Kashmir with this class. Kashmir, as a region, has been extremely relevant in the realm on international security and yet has been vastly overlooked and misunderstood. This class will not only equip us with basic conversational skills in Kashmiri but also provide an insight about Kashmir’s beautiful culture and its the deeply contested history.  Join if you are curious to learn and be rest assured that Kashmir, in one way or another, never fails to surprise. 

Beyond Yourself in Language Development is a student club that offers student-taught language classes open to the MIIS and greater Monterey community.
