Transforming Conflict: A Day of Dialogue
Join the Graduate Pillar of the Kathryn Wasserman Davis Collaborative in Conflict Transformation for an interactive exploration of conflict transformation at local, domestic, and global scales - highlighting community-based advocacy, approaches to environmental conflict, methods for countering extremism, engaging across cultures, sustainable peacebuilding, ethical storytelling, and more. Over 40 Conflict Transformation (CT) Fellows and faculty/staff will share in a range of modalities about their year-long interdisciplinary projects, courses, research, experiential learning, and community engagement focused on social change. In the afternoon, participants will also have opportunities to build CT skills through engaged sessions facilitated by community partners. The day will be bookended with welcoming and closing opportunities for collective reflection and deeper engagement.
Participants are welcome to join for any or all parts of the event, both in Monterey, CA and online. We look forward to your participation!
