Amy Michelle Slay is an instructional designer in the Digital Learning Commons. After completing her BA in Communication and German in 2011, she moved to Vienna and worked with international organizations such as the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization and the World Institute for Nuclear Security on the design and roll out of blended and online courses. These experiences solidified her belief in the critical application of technology in relation to education and social change and prompted her to pursue advanced degrees. She graduated from the Institute’s dual Public Administration and International Education Management MA program in 2015. In her current position, Amy works closely with faculty and staff to design meaningful online and hybrid learning experiences. Her passions include critical instructional design and digital privacy amidst the vast openness of the web.

Amy’s office is located in the upper co-working suite of the DLC (MG220B).
