Dr. Edie Furniss is director of the Russian Language Program at the University of Pittsburgh. She has taught Russian in intensive summer programs across the U.S. for almost a decade and has co-authored a beginning Russian textbook, Russian Full Circle. She is a former Fulbright scholar to St. Petersburg, Russia.

Russian language pedagogy, interlanguage pragmatics, corpus linguistics, foreign language materials development.
