Special Events Manager
Erin Cathey is a member of the Office of Advancement and the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies as the Special Events Manager. Erin plays a vital role in supporting campus events for the Office of Advancement, the Vice President’s Office, the Centers, and the Roderick House. Erin is a recent graduate from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration. Her concentration was Event Planning and Management.
Erin most recently worked with the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce and was a special events/fundraising intern with CASA of San Luis Obispo, an organization which helps children in the foster care system. In addition, Erin was the Service and Philanthropy Director for her sorority, raising more than $12,000 for CASA. Erin has been involved with a range of groups, from working with special needs children and adults to serving as a greeter at the 2016 Super Bowl.
