Fatih is a senior cybersecurity professional with extensive background  in secure software development life cycle (Secure SDLC), application security, network security, host security, penetration testing, cloud security, vulnerability management, cyber threat intelligence and cybersecurity risk management. His professional journey spans over multiple years, during which he has worked with both private companies and public organizations to develop and implement robust security architectures, manage vulnerability assessments, and guide teams through the Secure SDLC process. Fatih’s work includes solving complex security challenges and developing innovative solutions in the areas of different domains of information security.

In addition to his engineering experience, Fatih is also an accomplished cybersecurity instructor. He has taught a wide range of topics, from foundational cybersecurity principles to CompTIA Security+ training content, at institutions and training programs. His teaching emphasizes practical, hands-on learning, and he is committed to mentoring and developing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

Fatih is passionate about cybersecurity education, mentoring students, and sharing knowledge about the topics he has expertise on. His interests extend to exploring new technologies and methodologies in cybersecurity, participating in cybersecurity community engagement activities, and contributing to discussions on enhancing cybersecurity policy and strategy. What encourages him in his teaching and mentoring journey is the goal to motivate others and help people get into cybersecurity careers.

Fatih enjoys spending time with his family, going camping, running and reading. He is also involved in charity work related to supporting low-income students in higher education.
