Jan Pearson

Jan Pearson has been a Library Assistant at our library since December 2009.  Her responsibilities include cataloging of new library materials. She also works in the Acquisitions Department, overseeing daily processing of print periodicals.

Prior to working at the Middlebury Institute Library, Jan worked for the Santa Cruz Public Library as a Library Assistant where she did readers’ advisory and basic reference. She also provided programming for children, including craft programs, library tours and story time.

Outside of work, Jan has a strong interest in the visual arts and is a member of the Pajaro Valley Arts Council and the Santa Cruz Art League where she participates in annual group shows and workshops.
