Jayna Winn’s passion lies in fostering transformative educational experiences through intercultural communication, ethical international engagement, and education abroad. She is currently the Director of Custom and Faculty-Led Programs at CEA Study Abroad, an international education organization based in Arizona. In this capacity, she partners with U.S. institutions of higher education to develop and facilitate high-quality custom programs that support specific learning outcomes and student populations. As part of her coursework in the MIIS IEM program, she also consulted for the University Studies Abroad Consortium and the International School of Monterey. Prior to working in international education, Jayna spent several years managing international teams and partnerships at VivaKi Publicis Groupe, a transnational digital marketing company.

Areas of Interest

Jayna sees custom and faculty-led programs as a valuable tool in the effort to increase access to education abroad. Often, these customized experiences offer more flexibility in timing, price, and curriculum, thus breaking down barriers for underrepresented student groups. Additionally, custom programs can be intentionally designed for particular identity groups, ensuring that the specific interests and needs of these students are championed and supported.
