Dr. Karen T. Cuenco brings over 20 years of experience in applying analytics to catalyze innovation and bridge the gap between business needs and societal impact. With a diverse background spanning industry, academia, government, and nonprofit organizations, she has honed her expertise in translating complex data into reliable, actionable insights to attain outcomes and make informed decisions.

Most recently leading a global analytics team at a major philanthropic organization, she has tackled some of the world’s most pressing health and development challenges. She focused on generating insights to improve health outcomes, resource allocation, and expanded access to information in underserved communities. This work included working with private and academic partners to use a wide variety of data for evidence-based decisions. Dr. T.Cuenco’s earlier work in the biotech sector included cross-disciplinary projects in research and product development. As she has done throughout her career, she leveraged  large data sources to uncover market insights for product development and drive discovery, applying  analytics to inform product pipelines.

Dr. T.Cuenco has taught and mentored students at all levels, specializing in epidemiology, statistics, and interdisciplinary applications. Her passion for empowering learners and future influencers with knowledge extends beyond the classroom—she has guided data-driven initiatives across government, academia, industry, and nonprofit sectors, helping organizations achieve meaningful results through analytics. She remains adjunct faculty at University of Pittsburgh, and guides partners especially in the context of data and impactful decision-making.
