Molly Laughlin

Molly Laughlin provides operational and administrative support for the Advancement Office in Monterey, including supporting the Director in donor and prospect-related activities, tracking and documenting all contact with donors and prospective donors, participating in development of a comprehensive donor stewardship plan in collaboration with the Donor Relations and Alumni Relations teams, and supporting Institute events.

A second-generation native San Franciscan, she has lived on the Monterey Peninsula for more than 25 years. Before coming to MIIS, she worked for the cities of Carmel-by-the-Sea and Pacific Grove and the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce. She received a BA in Political Science from St. Mary’s College of California and an MA degree in Journalism, with an emphasis in medical writing, from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Molly is a former member (two terms) of both the Institute’s Staff Advisory Team and the Conduct Judicial Board.
