Nino Mazanashvili

I was born in Tbilisi, the capital city of the  gorgeous and beautiful country, Georgia. I am fluent in English, Russian and Spanish. I love traveling, being acquainted with new people, and sharing experiences and cultures. I have a degree in public administration and a masters in Social Sciences from the Technical University of Georgia. My early interest in conflict resolution and peace began when I learnt about the life and work of Nelson Mandela. His personality impressed me, his dignity and power to fight for justice and human rights inspired me and formed my philosophy of life. I plan to pursue my PhD focusing on the conflicts that threaten the territorial integrity of my country. I am very concerned with the conflicts in Georgia and I hope to contribute towards peace in the region by obtaining knowledge and education that is required to solve conflicts.I am sure the SPP will significantly enhance my understanding of peace building and enable me to take one step forward in dealing with actual conflicts.
