I am a native Californian. I was born, and raised primarily on the Monterey Peninsula. I came to the Institute as a temp in 2005. It was an exciting time as former President, Clara Yu, had just been inaugurated, and the affiliation with Middlebury College began. I officially became the Administrative Assistant in the Office of the President and Provost in July 2006, where I provided support for Clara Yu, former Provost, Amy Sands, and the current Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, Barbara Burke.

Seeking a new challenge, I became Office Service Coordinator in August 2007. I have really enjoyed interacting, and building relationships with the campus through Office Services. After nearly 10 years at Office Services, I am ready to take on something new. With 17 years’ experience as a Construction Contract Administrator and Project Coordinator, prior to coming to the institute, I have greatly missed working in a team oriented environment. I am very excited to be a part of the Language and Professional Programs team. I look forward to collaborating, and welcome the opportunity to work with colleagues and students in a different capacity.

Outside of work, I volunteer with Jacob’s Heart Children’s Cancer Support Services. I am very passionate about helping and advocating for children battling cancer and their families. I am an avid music fan of all genres and attend a lot of concerts. I love living in such a beautiful area. Aside from loving the beach, there’s always something to do close by. I attend the many festivals, fairs, and events along the Coast whenever possible.
