Rebecca Henriksen is the Dean of Enrollment, Advising, and Student Services. She is responsible for all non-academic aspects of the student experience, including student recruiting, admissions, academic and career advising, and student services.

Rebecca joined the Institute in January 2015, bringing with her more than 26 years of successful enrollment management experience. Rebecca spent 23 years with the Institute for Professional Development (IPD), a subsidiary of the Apollo Group. Among other positions, Rebecca served as IPD’s vice president of marketing and enrollment, supporting more than 20 not-for-profit colleges and universities with more than 20,000 students throughout the United States.

Prior to joining the MIIS senior leadership team, Rebecca served as the vice president for enrollment and student services management at Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona. In that role Rebecca was responsible for Thunderbird’s marketing, student recruiting, admissions, student services, student affairs, and career management operations.

Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and a Master of Science in Management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Rebecca serves on the board of AIESEC USA, volunteers for AFS USA, and is a certified yoga teacher and dedicated yoga practitioner.
