Manager; Monterey County Gang Violence Prevention Initiative, Lead; Advancement of Governing for Racial Equity
Rosemary Soto, a Salinas native has dedicated the past 16 years of her career to eradicating violence by addressing root causes and creating opportunities through coordinated prevention and intervention efforts. In the Monterey County Administrative Office, Rosemary serves as Manager for the Monterey County Gang Violence Prevention Initiative and lead for the Advancement of Governing for Racial Equity in County government. Rosemary currently serves as the former Vice-President on the Board of Directors for the YWCA of Monterey County. A champion for the arts in communities across Monterey County, Rosemary is the Former President of the founding Board of Directors for Hijos del Sol Arts Productions based in East Salinas and currently serves as a volunteer for the California Arts Council.
