Originally from the Chicagoland area, Samantha is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she double majored in International Relations and Spanish Honors. While studying, Samantha began working as a Telecounselor and an Orientation Leader and developed her passion for working in the field of education. After graduation Samantha put her trilingual skills to work in the tourism and training industries at Walt Disney World. She loves travel; she has worked as a program leader for summer experiential learning programs in Costa Rica, later as an English Teacher with the Auxiliares de Conversación program in Madrid, and most recently as an English Teaching Assistant with the Fulbright program in Brazil. She is excited to join the thriving international community at Middlebury, and to be a resource in assisting students all over the world to achieve their graduate school and future career goals.

She would love to speak with prospective students living in the DMV (DC, Mayland, Virginia) region, or those who are passing through! Feel free to email her to set up a time to meet and speak more about MIIS programs and opportunities.
