Areas of Interest

Why do I love my profession so much? Why have I devoted so many years to it?

Probably because it combines many different fields and opens up many opportunities.

First of all, you bring knowledge and expose students to a new world and a new culture.

Secondly, you meet a lot of new people, teach them and learn yourself, as it is always a mutually enriching communication.

Thirdly, teaching keeps you energized, doesn’t let you relax and makes you play. After all, a teacher is always a little bit on stage, a little bit an actor… And I love the theater as much as the cinema, I think it is the most lively and expressive form of art.

But actually, what I like most of all is traveling, discovering other countries and cultures, getting to know and communicating with different people, learning about their lives…

Academic Degrees

I have PHD in pedagogy and began working with Middlebury in 2001. But I started teaching directly at Monterey in 2021. Although I had another experience working with Monterey students in 2008, when we organized an experimental course in Russian as an accompaniment to a major subject.
