Zhizhong (ZZ) Pu

I am studying Economics at Middlebury College. I attended public schools in China and spent my last years of high school in United World College Thailand. In the past, I have worked for various summer programmes for secondary school students, including Sino-Japan Youth Conference and Liberal Arts Initiative Summer Seminars. I now aim to become a scholar in economics since I am passionate about studying the world through scientific lenses.My interest in peace and conflict studies originates from my past experience living in Xinjiang. I believe in the power of education, nonviolent communication, and mutual understanding in constructing peaceful relations among communities prone and vulnerable to conflict.
