CTEC Director Jason Blazakis was quoted by Reuters and the New York Times on the possibility of Mexican drug cartels being sanctioned as terrorist organizations

Middlebury Institute professor and CTEC Director Jason Blazakis was quoted by the New York Times and Reuters on the possibility of adding Mexican Drug Cartels to the list of designated terrorist organizations. Professor Blazakis told Reuters: “You are blurring the lines between criminality and terrorism and that is extremely problematic”.
