On February 25, 2021, the Cyber Collaborative hosted Middlebury alum Geoff Brown, the CISO and head of cyber command for New York City. 

Geoff Brown, a Middlebury College alum, serves as both chief information security officer and head of cyber command for New York City, overseeing cybersecurity and aggregate information risk across all 100-plus NYC departments and agencies. On February 25, 2021, Brown spoke to the Middlebury Institute community about his responsibilities in New York, the current challenges of the cybersecurity landscape, and what MIIS students can do to break into the career field.
