Gain proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC) applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat, learn fundamental typography concepts, and analyze DTP workflows from the perspective of a project manager, translator, and localization engineer.

Audio-Visual Localization

Learn how to localize motion-based assets created using the most common industry tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, and subtitling tools. Practice addressing motion and audio-based content from the angle of a translator, project manager, and localization engineer.

Website Localization

Explore a wide variety of technologies and tools such as the fundamental web technologies of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as dynamic WordPress websites localized with Polylang and WPML, Drupal websites, translating with SEO in mind, finally, proxy localization with Easyling, and advanced topics such as Node.js and PHP.

Games Localization

Gain hands-on experience localizing mobile and console games through using Xcode, Android Studio, Unity, and Unreal. Then, in a “games workshop,” work with a team to create a game from scratch, internationalize and localize it, and document your experience.

International Marketing for Localizers

Develop an understanding of general principles of international marketing, explore digital marketing, and learn how to apply marketing principles. Then, explore global marketing campaigns, website content, communications, PR, marketing collateral, event marketing, partner marketing, and education marketing. Learn about three major areas of interest associated with localization of marketing content, namely global authoring, international/multilingual SEO, and transcreation.
