    F-1 Workshop: Practical Training Authorization for F-1 students (Summer term) on April 26, 2018 · 12:00 PM

    This workshop will focus on Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Pre-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) for F-1 students who intent to obtain a summer internship in the U.S. Topics to be covered are: eligibility to apply, the application process and maintaining status while on an approved period of training authorization. This workshop is open to all F-1 students who are interested in learning more about these two types of off-campus training authorizations.

You will learn your rights and responsibilities as the consumer of a Federal student loan. We will discuss each of the various repayment options available to you, as well as the pros and cons of each so you have information about which repayment plan is best for you.

    Simon Saradzhyan - Sino-Russian Relations: Same Bed, Different Dreams? on April 26, 2018 · 12:10 PM

    Simon Saradzhyan is the founding director of the Russia Matters Project at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. Mr. Saradzhyan also helps advance the center’s U.S.-Russia Initiative to Prevent Nuclear Terrorism. His research interests include international arms control, counterterrorism, and foreign, defense, and security policies of Russia and other post-Soviet states and their relations with great powers. This will be a special opportunity to hear his latest work, as well as ask questions of the expert.

    Elizabeth Bone is an intelligence analyst who has worked in the defense contractor community for over ten years. After three years with Booz Allen Hamilton, she spent the next seven years working for Centra Technology providing contract support to various offices in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Elizabeth will share her insights on getting a career started as a defense consultant, and will also highlight the counterterrorism work she did while working for DHS.
