Unfortunately, we are unable to have an online program for non MIIS students but our sister college in Vermont is providing that option. As a SILP admitted student, your application can get transferred. These are the steps you would need to take in order to participate:

  1. Start a new application to Language Schools following the Immersion Program Directions. Please use the same email you used for your SILP application. Click on “Start New” for “Middlebury Language Schools – Language Pledge”
  2. Email Language Schools Assistant Director by language to express interest.

Arabic: Eman Hayyat, Chinese: Mimi Clark, French: Sheila Schwaneflugel , Russian: Oliver Carling, Spanish: Holly Stark

  1. Language Schools will waive application fee, transcript, and letter of recommendation. Your SILP deposit will be refunded.

Submit application.  Keep in mind that you will need to take a new language assessment exam before you start the summer.
