The Middlebury Institute of International Studies is a graduate school designed for motivated and ambitious students who want professional careers that advance understanding, promote peace, and drive positive change in the world.
The Middlebury Institute of International Studies will conclude all of its in-person programs and two online programs by the summer of 2027. We are committed to supporting all of our students through the completion of their degrees with rigorous academics, experiential learning opportunities, and career planning. We are accepting final intakes for some of the closing programs in the spring of 2026. Four of our online programs are not affected by this announcement.
