Advising Philosophy

As an advisor, I am eager to share the knowledge I have gained from my extensive experience in career services to partner with students in attaining their professional goals. I encourage students to develop an individualized plan that strengthens their personal brand, articulates their human capital, and identifies gaps during their academic studies or life experience so they may employ a strategy to achieve their career objectives. I feel especially honored to work with students from the Institute whose goals often reflect their commitment to improve global conditions. I enjoy getting to know students individually while serving as a resource and advocate as they manage their lifelong career path.

Gael has over 20 years of experience managing graduate school career centers including the Middlebury Institute, Thunderbird School of Global Management, and UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. A UC Berkeley alumna, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in French with a specialization in Linguistics.
