Harry Teng is both a firm believer in servant leadership to help others succeed, and in bridging cultural and linguistic divides to bring people closer; those two themes were the main drivers for his eventful career spanning more than two decades in Asia and the US, in education and management, multimedia and text, websites and mobile apps, and for both vendors and clients.

Harry started his career in teaching (high school and ESL), then to translation and interpretation, and eventually to localization where he supported top-tier clients within SDL (now merged with RWS Moravia), and then to a successful tenure at Mailchimp through its merger with Intuit. Now as Assistant Professor in the Translation and Localization Management program Harry strives to bring his broad experience into the classroom.

Harry has also been a teacher (high school and kindergarten), a military missile instructor, a study abroad advisor, a translator and interpreter (court and financial), and a ski instructor, among other things.
