TAMC Fellowship

A Partnership Advancing Language Inclusion and Community Engagement
The TAMC Fellowship is a long-term partnership between the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) and the Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC). Initiated by Professor Gabriel Guillén (MIIS) and Ariana Green (TAMC) in 2024, the fellowship supports collaborative projects that promote language inclusion, community engagement, sustainability, and livability across Monterey County. Through this innovative model, MIIS students, faculty, and staff work alongside local professionals to address real-world challenges. Read a news story about the creation of this fellowship.
