Professor Knopf Featured Speaker at World Affairs Council Monterey Luncheon
Professor Jeffrey Knopf was a featured speaker at a recent luncheon hosted by the Monterey Bay chapter of the World Affairs Council.
Knopf who is the chair of the Institute’s Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies degree program, gave a presentation titled: “How to Stop a Dictator from Using Chemical Weapons: Lessons from the U.S. Response to Syria.” The presentation drew from his current research. About 100 members of the local community attended the talk at Rancho Canada in Carmel Valley, which was the World Affairs Council’s first event of 2020.
