Linda Childs Hothem (BAPS ’85) committed to the largest alumni gift in Monterey Institute history, pledging $450,000 over three years to support the Institute’s Center for the Blue Economy.
The Carnegie Corporation of New York has awarded a $2 million challenge grant to the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) at the Monterey Institute in support of CNS’s global nuclear governance initiatives through the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation.
