Professor Jeff Langholz of the Middlebury Institute’s International Environmental Policy program recently spoke with KSBW Action News 8 about the Colorado Fire that struck the Big Sur coastline in late January.

Langholz, a natural resources expert, explains that this fire, which burned 687 acres total, was the Central Coast’s first winter wildfire in recorded history, and may be a harbinger of more frequent fires on the Central Coast.
