Graduate Research Assistant Steven De La Fuente at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies spoke with the New York Times about new radar satellite imagery from western Ukraine.

De La Fuente analyzed images collected by the commercial U.S. company Capella Space, which show that Russian cruise missiles struck Vinnytsia Airport. As De La Fuente explains, “Many airports or airfields have noticeable missile damage, however, they seem to be targeting munitions caches, fuel storage, air traffic control facilities and stationary aircraft.”
