Three Middlebury Institute professors traveled to Vermont to present research September 27, 2019 as part of an annual faculty forum.
Professor and Program Co-Chair of International Trade and Diplomacy Wei Liang presented on “U.S.-China Rivalry: Trade War, Tech War or New Cold War?”
Associate Professor of Spanish Gabriel Guillen presented on “Language Learning Entrepreneurship for the 21st Century.”
And Associate Professor of Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies Philipp Bleek presented on “Answering Threats with Threats”: Are Iranian Biological Weapons Fears Driving Offensive Development?”, a joint research project with NPTS student Cyrus Jabbari that the two presented the week prior at the Middlebury in DC offices.
