Seven Students Selected for WIPO Fellowship in Geneva 2019

At least seven Middlebury Institute students have been offered a summer fellowship at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland. The organization and the Institute recently renewed their decade old memorandum of understanding (MOU).
Seven Middlebury Institute students have been selected for a fellowship with the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva through a longstanding agreement between the organization and the Institute, a connection made through alumna Sally Young MATI ‘99. Young, who heads the Asian Languages Section within the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) TranslationService at WIPO returns to Monterey regularly to recruit graduates and maintain the important relationship she helps establish well over a decade ago.
