Professor Klaudinyova is a senior, experienced localization expert and consultant with a deep understanding of globalization on enterprise level, including leadership, strategy, as well as building and managing virtual teams, different localization operations and execution models in fast-paced, ever-changing environments. A part of the localization industry since 2000, she first managed localization projects and programs on the supplier side (MediaLocate). She also led localization teams and implemented new localization strategies in Silicon Valley companies like VeriSign, VMware, and Apple.
Prof. Klaudinyova is a professional educator, public speaker, coach, and mentor. Her localization expertise focuses on leadership, operations management, process and solution design, program management, quality management, and supplier management. She has been a frequent speaker, panelist and moderator at more than 20 localization conferences and events, such as LocWorld, Globalization and Localization Association (GALA), Association of Language Companies (ALC), Think Latin America, Localization Latin America, Women in Localization, Common Sense Advisory Colloquiums, LocLife, VistaTalks, and other events. She has also been featured in March 2022 issue of Multilingual as one of 52 women driving the language industry.
Prof. Klaudinyova is multilingual and holds a Master’s degree in Foreign Language Teaching from her native country Slovakia, as well as a Master’s degree in Translation from the Middlebury Institute. She is a co-founder and Advisory Board member of Women in Localization, the largest nonprofit organization in the localization industry, whose mission is to create a global community for the advancement of women and localization industry. She sponsors the MIIS chapter of Women in Localization. She is also an Advisory Board Member of EDUinLOC (a LocWorld initiative), a global platform to bridge the gap between academia and the localization industry.
