CTEC Director and Middlebury Institute professor Jason Blazakis was recently quoted in a Middle Easy Eye piece about foreign terrorist fighters returning to the United States. He highlighted the importance of evidence in the prosecution of US citizens who provided material support to the so-called Islamic State.

“They’re probably going through law enforcement, intelligence and social media accounts related to this individual - and this is true about anybody related to [IS] - and then they’ll try and determine how they evaluate that information,”
