CTEC Director Jason Blazakis presents at The Soufan Center’s Global Security Forum

CTEC Director and Middlebury Institute Professor Jason Blazakis presented at The Soufan Center’s Global Security Forum in Doha this week, along with Ali Soufan, Peter Bergen, Mia Bloom, Colin Clarke and a host of other international security experts.

This year’s event focused on security challenges related to modern disinformation. Professor Blazakis shared some of the insights garnered from CTEC’s evaluation of emerging neural net-powered language models, which reveal the potential for a significantly altered threat landscape as it relates to extremist and terrorist propaganda.
