    With the arrival of spring, and as we enter the second half of the semester, we see many hopeful signs of progress toward a slow return to normalcy. As usual, we would like to take this opportunity to provide our community with a brief update on all things Covid-19 related, including information about planning for the fall 2021 semester.

For many of our staff, this week was devoted to consultation and planning as we move towards a return to campus learning and teaching.     Monterey County has finally moved into the “red tier” of the State of California Blueprint for a Safer Economy.  While the red tier is still restrictive, there are a few steps that MIIS can take to continue gradually re-opening opportunities on campus. 

  • COVID Vaccine Update for Students in Monterey County

    As the COVID vaccine becomes more available, we are seeing the following two opportunities for some, but not all, students currently living in Monterey County to sign up for an appointment to receive the vaccine.
