NBCLX interviewed Sarah Bidgood MANPTS ‘16, director of the Eurasia Nonproliferation Program at the Middlebury Institute’s James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, to discuss the Russian nuclear threat.

Nuclear tensions are rising as a result of the war with Ukraine. In a video interview with NBCLX, Sarah Bidgood claims that the nuclear threat from Russia is low but growing. She also argues that if Russia were to use nuclear weapons, it would likely turn to a smaller, ‘tactical’ bomb.
