Monterey Institute students are celebrating yet another banner year for earning prestigious fellowships such as the Fulbright, Boren and the Presidential Management Fellowship, attributable to an excellent group of candidates with strong faculty and staff support.

Toastmaster Magazine recently highlighted the unique character of the MIIS Club, where members have partnered with the school’s translation and interpretation program to offer presentations in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Russian that are interpreted simultaneously into those four languages, Japanese, and French.

Even at a conference that attracts over 8000 international educators from around the world, it was hard to miss the large Monterey Institute delegation. Faculty, staff, students and alumni gave presentations and hosted sessions at the national NAFSA conference in San Diego.
