Student Services staff at the Monterey Institute knows that the last week of the semester can be a very stressful time for students, so they offer a variety of relaxing activities such as a chance to cuddle visiting puppies, free massages, and the chance to decorate a gingerbread house.
The Monterey Institute recently launched a ReadyCam video broadcast studio that offers easy media access to our Monterey-based faculty and staff experts such as Dr. Jeffrey Lewis of CNS, who was interviewed on PBS Newshour last week.
Monterey Institute alumna Maureen Fura, an activist fighting for awareness and help for women suffering from perinatal and postpartum mental health issues, is thankful for the support she has received and to MIIS for giving her the tools to further this project.

First year Monterey Institute students from France and Brazil have already formed a bond that goes beyond casual friendship as they prepare to share a feast in the spirit of Thanksgiving: “We are each other’s family.”
