Middlebury Affiliation Scholarships

100%, 75%, and 50% Scholarships

Starting in fall 2025, the Middlebury Institute will offer three of our largest scholarships annually to Middlebury College alumni for our in-person degree programs:

• One 100% tuition scholarship
• One 75% tuition scholarship
• One 50% tuition scholarship

Any bachelor’s degree holder or graduating senior (pending confirmation of successful degree completion) from Middlebury College is eligible for these scholarships. To be considered:

• Apply to a Middlebury Institute in-person master’s program by May 15 for fall enrollment.
  • Submit the online application by May 1.
  • In the online application, answer yes to being considered for a scholarship.
  • Indicate Middlebury College as your undergraduate institute in the appropriate fields.
  • Provide additional materials to complete your application by May 15.
• If you are awarded one of these scholarships, you must accept the award within three business days of receiving the offer.
  • 100% scholarship recipient: email enroll@middlebury.edu to accept your award.
  • 75% and 50% scholarship recipients: pay tuition deposit to accept your offer.

$10K Affiliation Scholarships

Degree holders from any Middlebury school are eligible for a guaranteed $10,000 annual scholarship for our in-person master’s programs. This may be part of a larger merit and/or need-based scholarship award, depending on the strength of your application and financial situation.

Scholarship Eligibility

Eligible applicants include alumni who hold degrees from the following.

• Middlebury Institute of International Studies
• Middlebury College
• Middlebury Language Schools
• Middlebury Bread Loaf School of English

Eligible family members include spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews of all Middlebury alumni.

$5K Affiliation Scholarships

If you have participated in one or more Middlebury nondegree programs (listed below), you are also eligible for a guaranteed $5,000 annual scholarship toward our on-site master’s programs for each nondegree program you successfully completed.
