CTEC researcher and MIIS graduate student Connor Michelotti was recently interviewed by Public Radio International on his research of the Russian Imperial Movement (RIM), its ideology, and how it operates.

Michelotti’s explanation of RIM’s requirements for membership was later highlighted in their corresponding article, as he was quoted stating that “you have to be a member of the Russian Orthodox church. That’s kinda the main qualifying factor there. Otherwise, you just have to be willing to go to their rallies, propagate their ideas.”

This interview was part of a larger piece analyzing RIM’s designation as a terrorist organization earlier this week, and featured additional interviews with individuals such as Alina Polyakova, Jon Lewis, and Christian Picciolini.
