The Institute’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Global Impact Management provides our diverse community of students with an in-depth knowledge of policy processes and systems in a variety of contexts.

Business Competence

Students can apply concepts, theories, and decision-making techniques and tools in business functions to solve management problems. In addition, they can do the following:

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills in applying the concepts, theories, and techniques of business functions.

  • Demonstrate quantitative skills to solve business problems.

  • Demonstrate the mastery of functional knowledge of business and the ability to integrate the functional skills in solving a business problem.

Global Impact Management

Students can effectively manage the global issues that transcend geographic borders while applying quantitative and qualitative skills required of transnational managers. In addition, they can do the following:

  • Demonstrate understanding of global challenges.

  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and analyze sustainability problems and design and evaluate sustainability solutions that create value for the company and society.

  • Demonstrate the ability to manage people and organizations in a global environment.

Entrepreneurship Orientation and Capability

Students will be prepared for entrepreneurial success in problem solving, innovation, and enterprise creation and development. They'll also be prepared to do the following:

  • Demonstrate the ability to think holistically, conceptually, and strategically.

  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrate the ability to manage in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous (VUCA) environment and devise a strategic and/or operational response.


Students can convey information and ideas effectively in a professional context. They can also do the following:

  • Convey information and ideas in professional reports.

  • Convey information and ideas in oral professional presentations.
