International Education Management Professor Anne Campbell and Thi Nguyen MAIEM ‘20 presented research on climate anxiety and international student mobility at the first International Education Climate Action Summit on May 21.
In their findings, Campbell and Nguyen suggested ways to move beyond eco-paralysis, recognize the connection between social justice and global warming, and advocated for climate action as part of—and following—international education experiences.
The conference had two virtual sessions, one to accommodate Asia and Oceania time zones and one to accommodate the Americas and Europe.
More information about the conference is available online.
