Virtual 2021 Spring Commencement

We created a series of virtual events to celebrate the accomplishments of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies Class of 2021.

Mandatory Graduating Student Information Meeting

A graduating student information meeting was held via Zoom on March 30th presenting details about commencement and graduating student speaker nominees presented summaries of their speeches. View recording on Panopto here. 

Regalia

Caps and gowns are NOT required to participate in the commencement ceremony. In lieu of regalia, we encourage graduates to wear traditional cultural dress or appropriate business attire. Details surrounding regalia may be found here. 

Grad Gift Pickup

All graduates will receive a graduation gift. We will be hosting a special in-person pick-up day on Friday, May 14 from 10AM to 2PM that will feature an opportunity to have your photo taken with Vice President Jeff Dayton-Johnson handing you a diploma cover and additional selfie photo stations on campus.
