Portrait of Myles Flores

We are excited to announce that Myles Flores, MANPTS ‘22, has been selected as our newest Michael Donnelly Research Fellow for Fall 2021. Before he came to MIIS and CTEC, he attended California State University - Monterey Bay, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies in 2019.

Myles is passionate about working on domestic extremism and terrorism issues, driven in large part by watching events like the attempted insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. He has worked with CTEC as a Graduate Research Assistant on an online extremism project, contributing nuanced research and policy recommendations for addressing extremism in the technology industry. He is a strong investigator and has extensive knowledge of the memes, aesthetics, rhetoric, and history of far-right extremism.

Our work is made possible by research grants and gifts from supporters. We appreciate your generosity.
