Your graduate program is an important investment in your future career. Please review the tuition information below.

Academic Year 2024–25

For the academic year 2024–25, students in all of our asynchronous, online programs pay $850 per credit.

Irrespective of the number of credits you are taking, all online students pay this rate.

  • Middlebury Institute scholarships and our partner scholarships are not available for our online, asynchronous programs.
  • Online students can secure additional funding via federal and private education loans and external scholarships.
  • To be eligible for federal aid as an online program student, you need to be enrolled in six or more credits per term. This applies to spring, summer, and fall terms.

Employer Benefits

Many employers offer tuition benefits to help employees cover the costs of professional development through courses like ours. Online students should speak to their HR departments for more information on their employer’s tuition benefits.

Additional Fees and Expenses

  • Both in-person program and online, asynchronous program students are charged student fees.
  • California law requires that, upon your enrollment, a fee be assessed relative to the cost of tuition (Education Code Section 94342) to support the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF).
  • You are responsible for any additional personal expenses.
